Computer Aided Software Engineering at service of Higher Education Innovation
Resumen
The current work shows the CASE (Computer-Aided Software Engineering) tool development called ACAR. It generates its automatic translation to Tuple Relational Calculus and later to SQL (Structured Query Language) from a designed query or constraint in Relational Algebra, its automatic translation to Tuple Relational Calculus and later to SQL (Structured Query Language). It is thought that Tthis tool mayis tought to be used in the database subject teaching (part I) .in Lessons lessons given to third-year students of Technical Engineering in Administrative Data Processing third-year pupils. On the one hand, The ACAR aims are on the one hand, tato makeing the comprehension of easy the database manipulation languages easier (which are to be used for information system interrogation)comprehension with which interrogate an information system, and ato placing a tool have at the studentpupil's disposal a tool that translates and obtains a syntactic real-time correction of queries or constraints. On the other hand, ACAR has given toprovided a group of pupilstudents the chance to develop their academic and professional competencies,. and iIt it is a fundamental tool, which is being used in the EUPT laboratories, to completely adapt for the utterly adequation of the practical side of the part subject to the EHEA EES., It will be of great use for the next academic year when degrees are and its offered in the platform of the Universidad de Zaragoza platform known as ADD nillo Digital Docente (http://add.unizar.es),. Awhich is a mixture of a distance and attendance learning environment.
